Legal Question in Criminal Law in Washington

Can they do this leagally:\nI was released from prison for a no contact order violation on Sunday July 26th. The violation occurred 17months ago and was an issue where no physical contact was ever made, it was caused by me returning phone calls 4 days after I missed the calls on my cell phone to 2 numbers I did not know of who they belonged to in which turned out to be my soon to be ex wife who had a no-contact order out on me and we have been separated for more than 8 months ( me in Sno. Co and her in Kent) when the phone calls were made to me and returned by me. I served my time and was released to Pierce County, I planned on moving into my Mother home in Renton (King Co.) till I got back on my feet. They have told me that I can\'t live there and I can\'t for any reason go into King County. The only family I have is in either Renton (my Mother) and in Snohomish Co is my Brother and my Father. The Dept. of Corrections (probation) is forcing me to be a homeless individual. They will not even allow me to go to Snohomish Co and try and get some basic necessities to try and survive. I have been in the same cloths since Sunday, I have no money, no place to live, no vehicle and no job. I am told that to be able to get any cloths for me is that my family will have to drive it down to me here in Tacoma. The probation people are claiming that my ex-wife (so-called victim)is believing something about an immediate threat, but in our history there has never been any physical violence and now they are telling me I can\'t go to my only source\'s of help. To me this is a violation of some sort civil or human rights by forcing someone to be homeless in this way.

The issue isn't, as you say, whether they can force you to be homeless. The issue is whether limiting you to Pierce County (or is it just Tacoma?) is a valid travel restriction for the offense for which you were convicted. Please restate your question stating the offense you were convicted of committing and what the actual travel restriction is that was imposed.
