Legal Question in Criminal Law in Washington
Hi, I'm a minor, and I've been charged for theft III, and it was diverted to the Juvenile Diversion unit. Would you recommend doing the diversion, or going through court? The diversion seems like the best at this point, because it's free and I can't go to juvenile detention. I've never been in trouble for anything else before.

There are many variables that may be involved. There is no one "right" answer. You need to get the advice from an attorney, and not try to rely on this list. Also, do not provide any details on the list as you may be waiving your right to not testify against yourself. If you cannot afford an attorney, ask the court to appoint one for you. Do it today.
