The fact that the charge was filed, regardless of conviction or dismissal, will always be accessible to the public unless the case is sealed.

If you were convicted of the offense, you may be eligible to vacate the conviction after 3 years have passed, provided you have not subsequently been convicted of a crime and have never had another conviction vacated. The applicable statute is RCW 9.96.060.

Once a conviction is vacated, you can state for all purposes that you have not been convicted of the offense, however, unless the case is sealed, the public will still have access to the court record.
