minor records

Are my minor records sealed indeffinitly,or do they still have any relevance in future case`s?Example\mip-duii?

This answer applies only to WA and makes no assumption about the date of your juvenile diversion or conviction.

Your records would be sealed indefinitely, but are subject to being unsealed in limited circumstances. The crimes of MIP and DUI should not have any significance in future criminal proceedings. Your DUI may have administrative consequences with respect to Department of Licensing actions if you incur an additional alcohol incident (driving) within 7 years of the first offense.

If you commit a new crime, or are charged as an adult with a felony, the sealing order is nullified.

If the MIP and DUI were part of a diversion, you may be able to have the records destroyed. You need to review RCW 13.50.050 for sealing and destroying requirements, or visit my website by following the links in my lawguru profile.
