This person could be extradited, and perhaps charged with an additional felony crime for "escape." It would normally be up to the prosecutor in the applicable jursidiction (the one the person ran from), to decide whether they wanted to pay the cost of extradition (to the other states/counties involved in transport, etc.). In my home jursidiction the general rule is that the local prosecutor is not generally willing to pay to extradite someone on a misdemeanor charge, but is willing to do so on a felony charge. Your hypothetical indicates a felony, though it is unclear. You (or have a freind or atty) might want to check with the local Sheriff or the like, to see if they have an arrest warrant. Another option is to go back to clean up the problems you've run from, and to what must be done to clear up assocaited problems. Good luck.
