Legal Question in Criminal Law in Washington

Murder in Washington state

My son was murdered here by 3 guys,2 have been caught the other on the run-they've had 7 continuences already no one ever came to tell us what had happened,now they think beings 2 have been caught,it should be enough for the public to be satisfied as they were also charged with driveby shooting.What are the laws inWa. state regarding murder,what can I expect? One is charged with first degree,the other one second-how do they classify that? Please let me know something,I'm going crazy behind this,so are his brothers. Thanx for your time

I am very sorry to hear of your son's death. This cannot be easy for you. Dealing with the legal system only makes things worse. There is a "victim's advocate" in the prosecutor's office that is there to help you with the legal system. They should be able to keep you up to date on continuances and the reasons for them along with inform you of what is likely to happen on the cases.
