Legal Question in Criminal Law in Washington

NCOs

my fiance and i have two court ordered ncos in two different counties. he is in prison but may be out for work release soon. is it likely we could get these at least modified so we could go to councelling or classes offered thru the work release program for couples? is it best to start pursuing this now or to wait awhile for him to serve a bit more of his time...he has been in for 1 month of his original 17 month sentence...though that has been changed to 11 months. he does have some DV classes he already attended prior to his conviction. and what would it cost for me to retain an attorney to help handle this as i do not have alot of money right now. or can i handle this without an attorney?i am in the spokane area

Re: NCOs

Most courts require at least 30, and many 90, days of the DV treatment classes before they will consider removing the order. Save your money by waiting until he's attended class that much then take the documentation before the Judge yourself.
