Legal Question in Criminal Law in Washington
Is it normal and legal procedure for the prosecution to offer a plea bargin with a time limit and conditions? I am charged with possession with intent to deliver. They offered me a year and a day if I pled guilty, but I only have til 4pm on wednesday to accept thier offer and if I don't take it they said they will automatically add a school enhancement charge and if found guilty I will get 3 years. Isn't that coersion?
