property dispute

my childs dad gave me a car in an agreement so that he doesnt have to pay child support. i have been making the car payments and paying for the upkeep of the car. today he tryed to run me off the road with my kid in his car and he told me that he wants the car back or that he will report it stolen. he also told me that he took all my reciepts except one. is there anything i can do?

Call the police because he ran you off the road. Also, for stealing your receipts. You can contact the financial institute where you've been making payments for the car and get another copy of the receipts (or other proof that the payments have been coming from you). If you've been writing checks you can get copies from your own bank. Call child support enforcement right away to get the child support enforced.
