Legal Question in Criminal Law in Washington
As a prosecuting attorney...
I'm looking into becoming a prosectung attorney but first I need some questions answered. As a prosecuting attorney, do you have to worrie about safty? I mean, are you safe from the defendant(criminal) after they are done serving time? Another question I have is do you get to become a prosecuter right from law school or do you have to be a non goverment lawyer first then work your way up? Do you ever have to prosecute inocent people? Thank you so much for reading my question! Have a wonderful day!

First, I have been both a public defender and a prosecutor ( 9yrs) and have handled everything from MIPs to Murders. I think the biggest thing a person needs on either side of the fence is life experience you can't get that as a pros or def. you have to live it and I never worried about my safety bc I was never an asshole to the def.
