Legal Question in Criminal Law in Washington

I was pulled over for not registering my car within 45 days as well as driving on a suspended (3rd degree). My arrainment was yesterday, and my next 2 court dates have been set up, one being a jury trial. At this point I have registered my car as well as have reinstated my license. My question is will this make it all the way to the jury trial, or will it end at my next appearance?

The issue at trial is whether you were in violation of the statutes requiring that your car was registered and that you have a valid driver's license.

Based upon your registration being current and your privilege to drive reinstated, you are in a good position to negotiate a dismissal or reduction of the one or both charges with the prosecuting attorney.

The judge can only accept a plea to the charges filed, rule on pretrial issues, e.g. unlawful stop, and preside over a bench or jury trial. You next step is to contact the prosecutor.
