Re: is pushing a domestic violence

Pushing a family or household member can be the basis for the charge of assault - domestic violence. Generally, any intentional touching or striking (or placing someone in apprehension of such contact) without consent, and not in self-defense, is considered an assault.

Whether you could be convicted under the particular facts of your case is a different issue.

Enter a plea of not guilty and get an attorney.
