Legal Question in Criminal Law in Washington

Reckless Driving.. driving on a suspended license

8 months ago I was involved in a car wreck that got me a reckless driving charge. I have since completed a defensive driving class and satisfied the needs of the court, but hadn't had the chance to go to the DOL to get my license reinstated. I was recently pulled over and told my license was suspended. They charged me with RCW 46.20.342 (3). what is the best way to handle this without getting my license suspended again and not have this on my record also? I have never had any criminal offenses before this.

Get your license reinstated now. When you go to court on the suspended license charge, bring your new license and your current insurance. This should help the new charge get reduced to something that will not suspend your license.
