Restraint Order

I was arrest for violating a restraint order. My girlfriend ex botfriend seen me there and called the police. He has threatened my life. I was worried about my girlfriend why I was there. I had volunteered to go into a rehab on my own,I had graduated and was passing the news to here. We were planning on getting married in March but this has set us back. I have throid cancer and am under Dr. care. I do not want to go back to jail but I don't know if there can be a motion for dismissal especially since I broke it. I am very sorry I should not have done I thought just letting her know things are good What is the best way to go.

Re: Restraint Order

First, you don't want to self incriminate so don't make any more statements, written or oral, to anyone about the incident. Decline to speak with the police if they request it. Based on what you say you are guilty of the crime. There is no "good news" exception to the Judge wanting you to stay away from the woman. You will have to discuss your case with your attorney when the time comes to see if there is anyway to get the matter dismissed or to win the jury trial. Your treatment and health concerns may be able to convince the prosecutor/judge to go easy on you. If you'd like further assistance contact me directly.
