Legal Question in Criminal Law in Washington

Sealing Criminal History

I want to seal my gross misdemeanor and misdemeanor that I was convicted of in fall of 2005. It was an MIP and a Neg. Driving 1st. I am on probation until Dec. 2007, and I am still paying court fines. What can I do and how long do I have to wait?

Re: Sealing Criminal History

Sealing is very rare. You are more likely to qualify to have your convictions vacated (removed from your record) You need to have no more criminal charges, no court orders against you, not have conviction removed before, and be five years after completion of your probation. If you feel you have a unique circumstance that justifies sealing your record contact me directly to discuss further. Otherwise, you've got a few years to wait for vacating.
