Legal Question in Criminal Law in Washington
Signing a document
At work I signed a document for a co-worker to show that she went
to a clean and sober class. It had many other signatures on it . She
said she was supposed to attend these classes but didn't and she
was under court order to do so. Now I'm worried because now I
realize I shouldn't have signed it. How much trouble am I in and
what should I do about it?

Re: Signing a document
You have effectively committed perjury--a felony. First, don't do it again. Second, do not tell anyone about it. Third, given the opportunity see if you can cross out your name from the list.
