Legal Question in Criminal Law in Washington
my son has a public defender that i feel is not doing her job how can i go about changing her to a different one. his case is a sexual charge and all she has done is ask for contentious to prolong it and hasen't even herd his testimony or supposed confesion

You can make a motion to the court for a change of counsel. It will likely be denied as I've seen them denied in court probably 90% of the time or more. The only good way to get a more attentive attorney is to hire one.
