Statuatory rape
I am 17 years old- but when I turned 16, a little over a year ago- I was befriended by a 27 year old man who happened to be my manager at the time. This man got to know everything about me. He knew that I was depressed and he knew just how to get me to do whatever he wanted. I couln't say no to him. He held my job in his hand and he knew stuff that he could easily use against me. I was scared of him. As a result we ended up doing stuff together. However, in retrospect- I wish I could have had the courage to have said no- I just found out tonight that I wasn't the first person he has manipulated and hurt like this. The amount of people he has taken advantage of are too many people to count. Is what he did to me, and others, rape? I didn't say no but I didn't say yes either.

Re: Statuatory rape
Yes, assuming you are meaning sexual involvement, he has most likely committed the crime of Sexual Misconduct with a Minor. If it involved sexual intercourse, it is First Degree (RCW 9A.44.093 http://www.leg.wa.gov/RCW/index.cfm?fuseaction=section§ion=9A.44.093). If not, but includes sexual contact, it is Second Degree (RCW 9A.44.096 http://www.leg.wa.gov/RCW/index.cfm?fuseaction=section§ion=9A.44.096).
See RCW 9A.44.010 for relevant definitions. http://www.leg.wa.gov/RCW/index.cfm?fuseaction=section§ion=9A.44.010
In addition to his criminal liability, he would also be liable to you in a lawsuit.
