Legal Question in Criminal Law in Washington
My ex step-mother signed my name to an insurance settlement. The check was issued in 2008 whinle i was living in the state of WA while i was in the Navy. The check was issued to mme in my name but sent to her in GA. What charges can i charge her with and where do i need to file them at?

Contact the primary law enforcement agency in the jurisdiction where she lived when she signed the settlement release. That would usually be a county sheriff. If she was in the city limits, you could contact city police instead. But sometimes, county level agencies have access to more resources for investigation.
