Legal Question in Criminal Law in Washington
I had a Theft In The Second charge in Washingtong State from 1985. I went and looked and according to the Pierce County Washington Superior Court records a Motion for Dismissal was submitted on 12/30/2003 an Order Of Dismissal With Predjudice was filed on 12/31/2003. This seems to me that this being dismissed with predjudice that charges can't be refiled in this case and any related warrants for my arrest should be deleted from the system. Is this correct and if you need to see the case numbers for further research I would be glad to e-mail them to you.
