Legal Question in Criminal Law in Washington
it's any thing that a person can do legally when someone has told a lie about a child example; ( he has been touching little girls) the boy is 13 years old, and it has became a gossip.

Depending on who they talked to maybe, but under some circumstance probably not. I would need more detail: Who (what position) is the person who told the "lie?" Who (what position) did they tell the "lie" to?
