Legal Question in Criminal Law in Washington
Washington state felony's
in applying for a job, do I have to enter a comment in the application asking about a felony, even if it has been 7+ years? What is the time limit for disclosing this info. ? Is it from the time of the arrest or the time of the conviction?

Yes. There is no built in time limit on felonies. They are on your record permanently unless you take some action to remove them. Some cannot be removed. If your conviction can be removed than likely enough time has passed. It is from the time of completion of the conditions of sentence. Five years thereafter you can get most felonies off your record one time if you've had no subsequent charges.
