Legal Question in Discrimination Law in Washington

research information needed for .....

seeking leads on material for a slander/discrimination/verbal attack laws i can research . i was personaly attack and threatend by an state/goverment park ranger (she had a very bad day)and i want to find out what steps i need to take to have this situation resolved properly.

Step One: Write to the Director of the State Agency and request an apology. If you don't receive relief, go to Step Two.

Step Two: File a claim with the state's Risk Mgmt Office. All the information you need is online at the State's website, access.wa.gov; look for Office of Financial Management under agencies and then Risk Management or "file a complaint" or something like that. (You don't need an attorney for this step if you can read and understand the RCW that gives you step by step directions in addition to those on the form.).

Step Three: Hire an attorney. It is unlikely you will find an attorney unless your reputation was harmed and you lost a substantial amount of money as a result. If you just got insulted in front of a couple of people, and that was that, get over it and get a life.
