Legal Question in Discrimination Law in Washington
My wife has been discriminated against by her ALL male management
My wife has been treated VERY poorly by her employer. The previous person in her position was a woman who apparantly had filed a lawsuit against the firm and settled. Her employer had asked her about 3 weeks after being hired if she had felt that there was any form of ''sexual discrimination'' that she had noticed. She in fear of losing her new job (and not having been there that long) said NO. After being there nearly 2 years things have become much worse! To put it simply they have been just plain mean to her. They will ask her to do one thing and then tell her another. They have even admitted to her that one of them himself was a ''bad'' manager to her. Her self esteem, which has always been VERY high, has absolutely dropped to the floor. She does not know whether to quit or to try to get them to ''lay her off'' or talk to a lawyer first! Please help!!!

Re: My wife has been discriminated against by her ALL male management
Poor management is not actionable unless it is based upon discrimination on the basis of sex, color, creed, sex, or sexual preference. Although you imply in your question that this poor management and meaness, based upon sexual discrimination, you never do come right out and say it. Proving it is another thing, and the plaintiff's burden in such an action. Is it sexual discrimination?
