Re: Canadian Citizen charged with DUI in the State of Washington

There are always options for individuals facing a DUI charge. Additionally, there will be many issues concerning the initial traffic stop, evidence and penalties. Your brother-in-law should hire an attorney or apply for court-appointed counsel.

By now, your brother will have appeared before a judge. If he entered a plea of guilty, he should file a motion to withdraw the plea and have his case thoroughly reviewed by an attorney. Generally, he only has 10 days to withdraw his plea.
