Legal Question in DUI Law in Washington
I got a DUI at age 18 and have arraignment court on wednsday in the city of Fircrest,WA. At the time an officer told me I would be able to have a license for 60 days before It was to be revoked? Does this make sense to you or did I misunderstand what I was told?

If your BAC is over .08, or if you refuse to take the test, the DOL suspends or revokes the license starting 60 days from the day of the arrest. You can challenge that, but you have to request a hearing with DOL no more than 20 days from the arrest. If you do that, then the license remains valid at least until the hearing is over.
The court case can also result in a loss of license, but that can happen anytime depending on how you resolve your charge.
