There will be an outstanding warrant for you in Colorado. Typically another state will not extradite for a gross misdemeanor but will for a felony. I do not know what classification Colorado has for a DWI. The intrastate compact however will probably prevent you from getting a license if Wash. & Colo are signatories. If you are stoped you may be placed under arrest and spend some time in jail and that would continue to happen until the warrant is taken care of

I can only tell you Washington law is as you would have to consult a Colorado lawyer to see what the law is there. Most likely, if you missed a court appearance in Colorado, there will be a bench warrant out for your arrest. Secondly, and almost as important, your driver's license may be suspended in Colorado. If that is the case, then when you come here to Washington, you will be asked to surrender your Colorado license and the suspension will show up because both Washington and Colorado are signatories to the Interstate Compact on Drivers' Licenses, an agreement that requires reporting by one state to another the status of a person's driver's license. My suggestion to you is to take care of this DUI in Colorado promptly before it causes you any more trouble. Why? Because if you are stopped here in Washington with your Colorado license in a suspended status, then you will be cited with a criminal traffic violation of Driving While License Suspended (DWLS) First Degree in this state. Then you'll have two criminal traffic cases to deal with, one in each state. It's just not worth going to such a risk. See a Colorado DUI lawyer immediately. If you get stopped here, contact me.Good Luck!
