dui deferment

I have gotten my second dui and have never used a deferment for a dui. Would I be able to get a deferment?

Yes. But a deferred prosecution is not easy. first, you must admit guilt of the offense and acknowledge that you have an addiction to drugs or alcohol (or suffer a chronic mental illness). Then you must engage in extensive treatment for an extended period of time.

If your DUI's are caused by one of these problems than a deferred prosecution is a good choice for you as you likely need to take strong measures to treat your illness anyway.
