Legal Question in DUI Law in Washington

so what's going to happen to my friend who got a dui with a BAL of .2 with an accident, but nobody else was involved? no prior DUIs but history of speeding tickets.

The SUV she was driving is a total loss.

Re: dui

.2? That's pretty high. Or is it .02? Does she have a history of drinking? I'd have to say that what happens to her depends on who her lawyer and Judge are. Very subjective. Mandatory minimums on a first DUI over .15 is a couple of days in jail, a big fine, license suspension, ignition interlock once the suspension is over, chemical dependency evaluation. The prosecutor will ask for more because of the accident. We can probably hold it down at the minimum. Let me know if she'd like my help.
