Legal Question in DUI Law in Washington
Dui
Her license has been revoked. Under
new washington state law, can she
get it back with interlock ignition
device? We live in a rural community,
and it makes life very difficult. Her
DUI was deferred. But due to pryer
offenses the state revoked her
license.

Re: Dui
Absent a few exclusions, she can. This is exactly the situation meant to be addressed by the new IIL (ignition interlock license). There is an application fee ($100). The cost of an IID (ignition interlock device) varies depending on the installer and monitor, averaging about $70 per month. For more information, you can go to DOL's web: http://www.dol.wa.gov/driverslicense/restricted.html
