Legal Question in DUI Law in Washington

dui neglect endgegment

I have a dui and a neglect endgagment in the state of washington. I,m living in puerto rico and i am very sure that they have a warrant against me already. I wonder if they can search for me and arrest me here in puerto rico? Thanks

Puerto Rico, while not a state, is a US territory and falls in line with the states with respect to arrests on outstanding warrants, extradition and so on. So the answer is yes, they could arrest you. Whether they would extradite you or not is another question entirely. Given the financial crisis affecting the US, I really don't know that they would extradite you on a misdemeanor charge (DUI or otherwise).
