Legal Question in DUI Law in Washington

''orl''

It appears that dol law requires that I install a ''interlock'' device in my vehicle, as a primary tool in my busness with clients is there any options in this?

The DOL regulations are very clear about that requirement. You really have no choice in the matter unless someone else drives another car with you as a passenger only. Otherwise, any vehicle that you drive must have an ignition interlock device. If you are stopped by law enforcement while driving a vehicle without one, you face a new criminal traffic charge and possible license suspension for an extended period of time. It is not worth the risk. You can also check with DOL directly on this point by calling 360-902-3900 in Olympia.
