is there a statue of limitations on dui charges

i was wondering if there is a statute of limitation on dui charges in washington state. i was stopped for a dui two years ago. before i went to court i moved to california with my parents. is there any chance i can wait it out? if not then what should i do?

Once a criminal complaint is filed there is generally not statute of limitations. Failing to appear in court normally results in a bench warrant being issued. Such warrants continue for ever. Also in most states being out of the state would toll the statute of limitations. The law in Washington could be significantly than the law in California. You should consult an attorney in Washington, or resubmit your question for a Washington Attorney.
