Legal Question in Family Law in Washington

18 ends visitation?

Does 18 year old son attending high school still have to go on scheduled visitation with mother? Divorce and parenting plan were filed in WA. The only thing in parenting plan regarding age is child support.

Re: 18 ends visitation?

I am going to assume your son resides in Washington State. Parenting Plans only control until children turn 18. Parents have no legal remedies to compel a competent adult child to spend residential time with either parent. Child support is usually provides for an end at age 18 or upon graduation from high school (but the details of the specific ORS are controlling).
