Legal Question in Family Law in Washington
I dont know what to think
2 months ago i had a baby she was 33 weeks premature i was tested positive for drugs and now the state has my baby and its clark county that has jurisdiction of my baby and i dont live in clark county i live in skamaina county but the clark county hospital was just closer to me then the one here in skamaina county. I was told by someone its against the law but i dont know for sure. i guess if that was the case it would just be switched but would that mean i would just have to start all over or what i just feel like what there doing is straight up wrong i miss my baby alot i know i can do what it takes to take care of her i honestly feel like there just waiting for me to screw up cause they dont want to have her all i know is im 19 first time mother my baby was 2 months premature i definitely wasnt expecting that at all. im not a drug addict and now im like i have to go through so much bowl shit i just dont understand how they think keeping my daughter away from me is protecting really. well sorry if i dont make much sence i guess its more then a question. Thanks, Kayla

Before you get off the computer, go to wsba dot org and look up Gary Preble in Olympia and contact him.
If you are not having drug issues you are going to have to prove it. Get a UA done asap.
If CPS had you sign a voluntary placement agreement you may have agreed to this. If CPS has your child and you did not sign a voluntary placement agreement, raise holy hell.
But the issue of whether Clark or Skamania County has her is just a red herring.
Remember, always take legal advice from a lawyer, not anybody else. Please contact Gary, today.
