Legal Question in Family Law in Washington
after 18
When I turn 18, I don't want my family involved in my life. If something happens to me (i.e.) accident before I get married, will they still be the ones responsible of making decisions for me?

Not if you sign a Power of Attorney, as well as a Health Care Power of Attorney. Also sign a Will that sets forth what happens at your death. I would recommend you contact an attorney.
