Abandonment

His soon to be ex-spouse has demanded that he move out of the house. He is afraid she will threaten abandonment even though it does not apply. what are the laws pertaining to this in Wa. state?

I think you've nailed the answer already...it (abandonment) does not apply in Washington State. "Abandonment" really only applies when there are children involved, and when child support has not been paid (and there has been little or no visitatin). There is a statutory provision re abandonment of children in need. However, there is a high burden of proof.
