Legal Question in Family Law in Washington

Agreed Modification

Agreed modification of Parenting Plan & child support never filed. Mother assigned ch support to state upon receiving benefits. Just learned she never filed agreed orders. Now she's filed a petition for modification of pp but no ch support. atty never filed notice of appearance.

Want to file c/support and get court to accept both orders signed but not filed. Can I file c/s since she didnt? Will court allow signed orders to be accepted as current order? Any case law or RCWs I can quote as legal authority?

Re: Agreed Modification

Probably not; what you have on your hands is a mess. If you and the other parent are on speaking terms, you need to talk because courts will do what you ask by agreement.

If you have an old signature, go get a current one.

I'm not doing your research for you, sorry. You have a mess on your hands. There may be a volunteer program available where you are that can assist you with this, but I can't fix it for you in this context.
