amelia wilson full guardianship

how do i get help for full guardianship of a handicapt 20 year old when i am on a fixed income i have had her for 20 years and she is at about 6 years mentally

Call your county Bar Association. Ask if there is a pro bono committee who can help you.

This just isn't self-help law, unfortunately. The Court will appoint a Guardian ad Litem, usually a local attorney, to meet with your ward and report back to the Court what is appropriate.

Does she get services from the State? If so, her caseworker may be able to help you navigate the system so you can be appointed her guardian.

There are guardians of the persons and guardians of the estate of a disabled principal - sometimes, those duties are managed by one person, other times two people take this on.
