Back Pay Child Support?

My husband was contacted by an ex who says she had his child. There has been no DNA test yet, and she didnt contact him till the child was over 2 years old. What are his rights?

He has the right to genetic testing and the right to a parenting plan. If he's the father he will be obligated to pay child support and the state can go back to the date of the child's birth or the date the petition was filed, depending on various factors.
