Legal Question in Family Law in Washington

Bad Home Situation

I am 14 years old and I have a very bad home life. I live with my mom, my dads in prison, and I need to get me and my little sister out. My family fight alot, they do drugs, there is violence, emotional abuse and phyiscal abuse. I am really scared that with all the people my mom knows that my sister will get raped or molested. I know I need to call CPS but I am afraid of being separated from my sister. Or losing our little dogs. We go to a church and there is a family willing to take us but I know I won't do anything until I know we can be placed with a christian family. Is there some way that we can be placed with them? I am afraid of being sucked back into the vicious cycle of drug abuse, or other evil. Please tell me what legal options I have.

Re: Bad Home Situation

First, talk with your pastor or priest at your church about your options. You will have to move with your sister and dogs. Try to see if you can get this situation worked out in a social way first and then the legal steps can follow.
