Legal Question in Family Law in Washington

My boyfriend and I lived for 10 years here in Washington State. Now we are separated and would like to know if Washington State is Commone Law State?

I will assume that you are asking about common law marriage. Washington does not provide for common law marriage, except to recognize common law marriages established by couples who resided in other states which did provide for common law marriage.
