Cases

My ex and I would no longer like to go through court system, is there way to close a case to where we don't have to file anything anymore or schedule court datesd. We currently have a file parenting plan.

Re: Cases

Your fact description leads me to ask, what do you want for a final resolution? Do you want to be divorced, reconciled, separated-but not legally separated. The court clerk will dismiss it at some point if nobody prosecutes it. You would probably be better off filing a joint motion and agreed order to dismiss. It was unclear what you meant by, "We currently have a file parenting plan." If you have filed a temporary plan, it will expire with the divorce action. Any parenting agreement you do outside of the court system may be enforceable as a contract, but not as a court order. Relevant facts and good grammar increase the likelihood of a quality answer.
