Legal Question in Family Law in Washington
Change of custody/child support
My ex-wife and I have been divorced for almost 2 years. She wants me to take our 3 kids, basically a swap of custody and child support. This came up 2 days ago and now is just wanting to dump them off on me. I'm hoping someone could possibly tell me the forms I will need to fill out to get this taken care of ASAP. Even if they are just temporary orders to change the child support and/or custody.

Re: Change of custody/child support
For sets of forms you should visit the courts website: http://www.courts.wa.gov/forms/
The specific forms you will need at a minimum will be a Law Enforcement Information Form, Petition for Modification Parenting Plan/Residential Schedule, Summons, Order re Modification Parenting Plan/Residential Schedule, Parenting Plan or Residential Schedule, Child Support Worksheet and Order of Support. If you agree on what is to happen, you can both sign all the prepared documents and file the petition and summons at the clerk's office (pay the fee) and proceed to ex parte to have the Orders and Parenting Plan entered the same day.
