child custody information needed

does washington have common law marrirges? I was with someone for 10 yrs.., there is a little girl involved....

No.

As to the child, the custody/residential issues are taken care of through a peternity action under Chapter 26.26 RCW. ftp://ftp.leg.wa.gov/pub/rcw/title_26/chapter_026/

As to any property issues, there is some protection under WA caselaw that an attorney could help you with. Unfortunately, you will not have the same protection as if you had been married.
