I have residential custody of my 2 children. How much visitation can I allow my ex per a signed parenting plan before it affects the amount of child support she has to pay or crosses into joint custody?
My current proposed plan includes everyother weekend and about 9 week long stays over the course of a year. Plus about 4 scheduled holidays. Some of this is overlapping. Such as the week long stays must fall on one of her weekends etc..
I guestimate the total overnights to be about 97
Am I risking a reduction in child support?

SHort answer is the threshold is 90 overnights. Long answer is it depends. Right now there is a bill pending regarding joint parenting; the primary residential parent is the one with whom the children reside, and WA requires that one or the other parent be named as primary residential. That said, One parent can be named primary with 51% - or less actual residential time. It depends on a host of factors.
The situation you are describing is what the legislature is trying to avoid.
