Legal Question in Family Law in Washington

Child support outside of US

My ex-wife has changed my son's name and moved to Canada. All without my consent. Do I still have to pay child support and insurance even though she will not let me see him or contact him?

Yes, your duties and obligations under the parenting plan do not change just because your spouse is not following the rules.

If she has recently relocated, she may be in violation of the new Washington Relocation Act, for which you may have a remedy.
