Re: Child support

Depending on what the facts of your case are (married, divorced, or unmarried but paternity determined or not determined) and where your case is procedurally (have you started a paternity action, dissolution of marriage or separation, or have an existing order that you want to modify), you may need different forms. In all cases you will need to prepare a child support worksheet, and order of support, beyond that I would need to know more to let me answer this question in a reasonble space.

Re: Child support

You need to file a petition, which is accompanied by a summons. You need to propose a child support order, and support your calculations with worksheets. The worksheets are based upon your tax returns and the other parent's tax returns.

Have you contacted the Division of Child Support (available on line) and / or the Family Support Division of your county's Prosecutor's office? Either will be able to assist you with this.

Hope this helps. Powell
