Legal Question in Family Law in Washington

Child Support

I would like to issue a reward to collect child support, current and arrears. The amount is substantial. The question is, can I post this on the internet, among other places, directly stating the paying parents name,(without being sued by the paying parent) as long as I state that under no circumstances can any harm to this parent or the parents family come of this?

Re: Child Support

You should file a Motion for Contempt for the payor spouse's failure to not pay child support. You would be required to calculate the amount due and file this motion. If the court finds that he or she has the ability to pay and hasn't then contempt is ordered and he or she faces the consequences. Possible jail time, take away drivers license, liens etc. Contact an attorney for this. Your suggestion is not appropriate.
