Legal Question in Family Law in Washington
Child Support
My ex wife now that I just got married is threatening me that she is going to take me back to court to try to get child support from my new wife. It has almost been two years since our last order and my income is exactly the same but can my payments go up just because my current wife has income? Also my ex wife has just started working so she has more income now.

Re: Child Support
Your new wife's income can not be used to calculate support. Your spouse's income is looked at for the purpose of verifying that your household doesn't drop below income threshold levels. Your former spouse's new income (unless it is very high) will have little or no effect on your child support obligation, because child support is calculated based on combined income, and then portions allocated on the basis of the ratios of the parties incomes.
